Shooting Match Rules

ELK CREEK FIRE DEPT. SHOOTING MATCH

GENERAL RULES:

  1. OPEN SIGHTS REQUIRED (NO FRONT OR REAR APERTURES, PEEPS OR GHOST RINGS) EXCEPT THAT UNLIMITED CLASSES CAN USE ANY SIGHT OR SCOPE TYPE.
  2. LONG GUN TARGETS AT 35 YARDS, AND PISTOL TARGETS AT 25 YARDS.
  3. ALL AMMO FURNISHED FOR SHOTGUN CLASSES (12, 16, 20 & .410 ga.)
  4. YOU CAN BRING .22 AMMO, BUT IT MUST BE ON THE SHOOTING TABLE AND AVAILABLE TO ALL COMPETITORS SHOOTING IN THAT ROUND.
  5. .22 PISTOL AMMO WILL BE FURNISHED. ALL OTHER PISTOL CALIBERS—BRING YOUR OWN.
  6. $1.00 PER SHOT, 1 SHOT PER TARGET. DOUBLE SHOTS MAY BE DISQUALIFIED AT THE DISCRETION OF THE JUDGE.
  7. ALL GUNS ARE TO REMAIN UNLOADED UNTIL ON THE FIRING LINE.
    BE SAFE. UNSAFE GUN HANDLING WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION AND EJECTION FROM THE PREMISES.

DECISION OF THE JUDGE IS FINAL.
